The Regional Council of Pla de l’Estany has placed its trust in us to manage special waste at the green point of Pla de l’Estany, located at the Puigpalter facilities. We will collect this waste and transport it to our corresponding treatment plants, thus carrying out the complete process.
TYPES OF WASTE
The service includes the collection and transport of containers and boxes of the following special waste from the recycling centre:

- Asbestos Cement Waste
- Toner without hazardous substances or WEEE
- Contaminated and non-contaminated lubricating oils
- Contaminated Vegetable Oils
- X-rays
- DVDs and video tapes or cassettes
Other special waste in small quantities such as:

- Acids
- Stickers and sealants
- Aerosols, gases in pressurised containers
- Other hazardous waste
- Combustible Waste
- Cosmetics
- Needles and sharp objects (incinerable biological waste)
- Non-halogenated solvents
- Raw containers of hazardous substances
- Fire extinguishers
- Used mineral oil filters
- Pesticides and phytosanitary products (not containers)
- Laboratory reagents
- Solids and pastes (paints, glues and varnishes)
TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
We have a large fleet of our own suitable for special waste (among others). And we have authorisations that certify the quality of our services and reinforce our commitment to our clients and to the Environment. This allows us to offer a complete service in the integral management of waste.
In this case, the transport systems planned are:

- Hook lift vehicle for open or closed metal boxes of waste up to 30 m³ or more, or self-compacting vehicles of up to 30 m³, and GVW of at least 26 Tn.
- Emptying of boxes at source by means of a vehicle equipped with a crane and grab with a capacity of more than 26 Tn of GVW. The vehicle has an on-board weighing system to control the quantities collected.
- Transport of waste with a forklift and a truncated cone box transporter of 5 to 7 m³ or greater capacity.
We will also be responsible for collecting and transporting other fractions of waste such as liquid waste, asbestos cement oils, etc. and other special waste in small quantities.
