Committed to equal opportunities
At TMA and Espais Verds, equal opportunities are a fundamental priority. In May 2023, our company obtained the Equality Certificate, marking an important milestone in our commitment to gender equality and the creation of an inclusive work environment. Obtaining this certificate is a recognition of our past efforts and an incentive to continue moving in the same direction.
OUR COMMITMENT TO EQUALITY
TMA and Espais Verds’ commitment to equality is materialized through various initiatives and policies designed to ensure an equitable and respectful work environment. Among these initiatives, our Equality Plan stands out, a tool to promote effective equality between men and women at all hierarchical levels of the organization. This plan is a reflection of our corporate ethics, which focuses on ensuring that equality principles guide all our processes and decisions.
EQUALITY PLAN
The Equality Plan of TMA and Espais Verds is designed to reinforce the principle of equal opportunities at all levels within the company. A key figure in the implementation of our Equality Plan is the Equality Agent. This person plays an important role in promoting gender equality and combating any form of discrimination within the company. The Equality Agent is responsible for coordinating and supervising equality initiatives, providing support and advice to employees and ensuring that the principles of equality are respected at TMA and Espais Verds.
Functions of the Equality Agent

PROTOCOL FOR ACTION IN CASE OF HARASSMENT
At TMA and Espais Verds, one of our main objectives is to guarantee a safe and harassment-free work environment. To this end, we have developed a Protocol for Action in case of harassment, which covers different types of harassment behaviour and details the procedures to follow in the event of complaints or indications of inappropriate behaviour.
Types of harassment behaviour
The Protocol for Action identifies four main types of harassment behaviour: moral harassment, sexual harassment, harassment based on sex and virtual harassment.
- Moral harassment: Moral harassment includes any behavior that violates a person’s dignity, exercised in a repeated and potentially harmful manner. This type of harassment can manifest itself through insults, humiliation, social isolation, or any other conduct that creates a hostile environment for the victim.
- Sexual harassment: Sexual harassment covers a wide range of unwanted sexual behaviors, such as requests for intimate relationships, deliberate or offensive touching, obscene or sexist comments about physical appearance, indiscreet questions about private life, unwelcome sexual advances, display of pornographic images in the workplace, and inappropriate gestures of a sexual nature.
- Gender-based harassment: Sexual harassment refers to any conduct that violates a person’s dignity because of their gender, including the dissemination of comments about someone’s sexual orientation or discrimination for not conforming to gender stereotypes imposed culturally and socially.
- Online harassment: Online harassment involves any digital behaviour that aims to harass, humiliate or cause discomfort to a person in the company. This can include intimidating messages, offensive comments, defamation and harassment on social media.
PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW
In the event that complaints are made or signs of harassment behaviour are detected, our Action Protocol details the procedures to follow to ensure fair and impartial treatment of all reported situations. This protocol is supervised by the Harassment Protocol Commission, led by the Equality Agent and other members of the Equality Commission. This commission is responsible for investigating complaints, providing support to victims and taking the necessary measures to resolve harassment situations.
