TMA continues leading waste management in the Valencian Community

TMA will continue to provide the comprehensive management service for waste resulting from the activity carried out at the Villena urban waste and composting treatment plant in Alicante. This contract includes collection, transport to our treatment plants and final management of waste. As we continue to be the company awarded this contract, we continue to consolidate our presence and the value we provide in comprehensive waste management in the Valencian Community.

VAERSA ​​AGAIN AWARDS TMA THE COMPREHENSIVE MANAGEMENT OF VILLENA WASTE

TMA consolidates its presence in the Valencian Community with the new award to VAERSA ​​(Valenciana d’Estratègies i Recursos per a la Sostenibilitat Ambiental, S.A) to continue providing the comprehensive management service for waste resulting from the mechanical treatment of the Villena Urban Waste Treatment Plant.

The waste from the Villena plant in Alicante corresponds to the LER coding 19 12 12.

The services included in this tender are:

• Collection at the Villena plants.
• Transport of waste using approved vehicles suitable for the type of waste.
• Final treatment at the TMA plants.
• Delivery of the necessary documentation to comply with current legislation.

Specific conditions for the management of waste from Villena

VAERSA ​​will establish and communicate a periodic and continuous collection schedule. At TMA we adapt to the needs and guarantee flexibility and adaptability of schedules depending on the operational availability of the plants where the collection is carried out and the needs that arise during the term of the contract.

Different types of waste are generated at the Villena plants and each one requires a transport system suitable for its characteristics.

The types of rejection that we will manage are:

• End-of-line rejection in bales
• End-of-line rejection in bulk and broken bales
• Improper bulk rejection in bulk

Our land fleet is made up of more than 250 vehicles of 11 different types, with which we will offer an agile and personalized service for the transport, collection and itinerant compaction of waste.

The vehicles are equipped with the latest technological advances and are suitable to meet the service conditions required for the management of Villena’s waste.

We have trailers/containers equipped with systems that guarantee the coverage of the waste so that it can be transported safely without spills.

All means of transport and loading used comply with the European EURO VI low-emission regulations, thus minimizing the environmental impact and contributing to the care of the Environment.

TMA HAS ITS OWN TREATMENT PLANTS IN THE VALENCIAN COMMUNITY

TMA has transfer plants in Novelda, Alicante, which comply with all national and community regulations regarding the correct management of non-hazardous waste. We are authorised to treat a large number of LER waste codes.

At this plant we also have our own transport fleet, Technical Assistance Service for the maintenance of our vehicles and commercial team for personalised attention to our clients.

Thanks to our large fleet of vehicles and the facilities we have in the Valencian Community, we can manage the entire process, from waste collection, treatment, recovery and recycling to final disposal.

TMA’s facilities are registered in the Environmental Registry of Facilities and have the authorisations, permits, procedures and licences necessary to develop the comprehensive management of the waste included in this tender.

Likewise, we have the certificate proving the capacity necessary for the effective development of the service we must provide.

TRANSPORT TO TMA PLANTS

At TMA we are authorised as Waste Managers to treat the corresponding waste in the Valencian Community:

• Controlled deposit of non-hazardous waste – Novelda.

We also have the corresponding approvals as transporters:

• Registration of transporter of hazardous waste in the Valencian Community.
• Registration of transporter of non-hazardous waste in the Valencian Community.
