TMA has been awarded, on behalf of SIRESA Soluciones Integrales para los Residuos, S.A., the contract for the management of the collection and transport of plastic packaging (CER 200139) from several Clean Points in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB). This new tender that we have obtained reinforces and endorses our trajectory in the comprehensive and efficient management of non-hazardous and valuable waste and demonstrates our capacity to manage large volumes of waste in urban environments.
MANAGEMENT OF THE PLASTIC WASTE OF THE AMB
During the next 4 years we will be in charge of collecting the plastic packaging from the Clean Points of Corbera de Llobregat, Molins de Rei, El Papiol and Torrelles de Llobregat and we will transport them to the FIRM finalist treatment plant. During the validity of the contract there is the possibility of extending the coverage to other additional Clean Points.
The management process we will carry out to fulfill the requirements of this tender is:
- Supply of the necessary big bags at all Clean Points
- Collection of plastic containers in suitable vehicles
- Efficient transport to the final treatment plant
- Agile service and operational flexibility
- Personalized attention 24/7/365
- Issuance of the necessary documentation and certification
During the execution of the contract, we guarantee transparency and compliance with the regulations, delivering the necessary documentation for each collection service: collection location, personnel who perform the service and information on waste.
In addition, we will provide the certificate of CO2 emissions generated by the provision of the service and the documentation that accredits the correct management of the waste generated by the maintenance of the equipment and vehicles.
TMA WILL PROVIDE SUITABLE CONTAINERS FOR PLASTIC WASTE
To ensure efficient and safe management of plastic waste, from TMA we provide the necessary big bags at each Clean Point, as they are the fundamental containers for the safe storage of this waste and facilitate efficient transport.
In this way, waste can be stored correctly and facilitate the loading and unloading process, optimizing collection times and guaranteeing that the service is carried out quickly and in accordance with current environmental regulations.
COLLECTION AND TRANSPORT OF PLASTIC CONTAINERS FROM THE AMB
Our own land fleet consists of more than 250 vehicles of 11 different types, including electric and LPG hybrid models, and is equipped with the latest loading systems to carry out safe and efficient waste transport and guarantee a quality logistics service.
In addition, we have compactors equipped with advanced capacity control systems, which allow us to optimize the waste collection process by improving operational efficiency.
At TMA we optimize the routes and reduce the emissions derived from transport thanks to the latest technological advances in real-time monitoring that we have implemented in our vehicles.
We provide a safe, agile, efficient and personalized service for the collection and transport of plastic containers to the FIRM final treatment plant.
Each collection complies with strict security protocols, including the use of absorbent material to prevent possible spills during transport.
