MARPOL Plant – Port of Barcelona

Duties

• Project Management: Conduct technical and economic proposal studies.
• Design and Development: Interpret and design plans and P&IDs.
• Facility design: calculation of flow rates, elements and technical requirements.
• Contractor Management: control of personnel under their responsibility, supervision of work and control of hours spent, etc.
• Planning of work and resources.
• Control of project costs and results.
• Participation in the start-up phases of the facilities.
• Process Analysis: Evaluate and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs and ensure the quality of the final product.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing methodology in the plant.
• Apply continuous improvement methodology in the plant.

Schedule

Monday-Friday. Full time, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Experience

Experience in the sector is valuable.

Training

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Electronic and Automatic Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

Computer skills

Management of design tools in technical office: AutoCAD and project management software.

High command of Office package.

Languages

English, intermediate level.

Requirements

Driving license.

PLC programming and design with Eplan is valued.

Skills

Interest in production processes, with desire to learn and develop in the industrial sector.

Leadership capacity.

Effective communication.

Work in constant contact with different departments.

Salary

From €25,000 to €30,000, depending on experience.
