Occupational Health and Safety Technician – EHS (Albacete)

Duties

• • Promote, in general, prevention in the company and its integration.
  • Collaborate in the coordination of Occupational Risk Prevention with the External Prevention Service.
  • Propose measures for risk control and reduction.
  • Conduct information and training activities for workers.
  • Promote staff awareness to perform work safely.
  • Monitor compliance with the risk control and reduction program.
  • Participate in the planning of preventive activities.
  • Participate in the management of the documentation process for the occupational health and safety management system.
  • Manage the stock and purchase of Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Participate in managing the risk reassessment of the different workplaces in coordination with the External Prevention Service.
  • Participate in organizing emergency drills with the External Prevention Service, as well as assisting and collaborating in them.
  • Provide initial training for new employees.
  • Participate in managing the organization of specific training through external entities.
  • Participate in managing the organization of initial and periodic medical checkups in coordination with the Health Surveillance Service.
  • Participate in organizing vaccinations, together with the Health Surveillance Service, when appropriate.
  • Coordinate Business Activities by sending and receiving emails with clients and suppliers, as well as on digital platforms.
  • Responsible for the PPE inventory, delivery of PPE to employees, and order requests for PPE and workwear.
  • Participate in the training and continuous improvement of the Quality and Environment Department.
  • Support internal and external audits of the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
  • Participate in the implementation and supervision of working conditions and extinguishing equipment controls.
  • Participate in the drafting of corrective measures and improvement proposals, as well as the monitoring of their implementation.
  • Participate in the drafting of work instructions for each position.
  • Prepare and send medical assistance forms for work-related accidents.
  • Investigate accidents and draft mandatory documents.
  • Control sick leave due to work-related accidents.
  • Participate in the management and coordination of the drafting of Safety Plans with external specialists.

Schedule

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Industry Experience

• • Minimum 1 year as an Occupational Risk Prevention Technician, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Experience in managing EACs in industrial environments.

Training

• • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S).
  • Experience in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) is highly valued.
  • Experience in all three Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) specialties (Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Psychosocial) is highly valued.

Additional Training

• • ISO 14001 auditing and ISO 45001 implementation courses.
  • Office Automation.
  • Postgraduate degree in Environmental Technician.

Computer Skills

• • Computer skills at the user level.
  • Experience in using digital tools for Business Activity Coordination (BAC) is highly valued.

Languages

Spanish.

Requirements

• • Class B driver’s license.
  • Occasional travel to our Valencia and Alicante branches.
