TMA manages the waste from the Marina Baixa Hospital in Villajoyosa

TMA has been awarded the tender to carry out the collection, transport, treatment and management service for non-hazardous waste generated at the Marina Baixa Hospital facilities (Villajoyosa, Alicante). We are leaders in the management of health and bio-sanitary waste and proof of this is this new award and all those we have carried out and are currently carrying out in the field of hospital health.

SAFE AND EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH AND BIOSANITARY WASTE

Since last August we have been managing the health and bio-sanitary waste from the Marina Baixa Hospital, which is grouped into the following types:

• Group I
• Group II

In the service we provide to the Marina Baixa Hospital in Villajoyosa we guarantee safety and quality at all stages and we are in charge of the entire waste management process:

COLLECTION AND TRANSPORT FROM THE MARINA BAIXA DE VILLAJOYOSA HOSPITAL

We have a wide range of containers, boxes, packages, receptacles and compactors of different characteristics and capacities, suitable for the storage and transport of each type of waste.

We supply the appropriate and approved compactors, containers and equipment for the safe storage and collection of waste:

• RSU Group I – 1 compactor of 20 m3.
• MSW Group II – 1 compactor of 20 m3.
• MSW Paper-Cardboard – 1 compactor of 20 m3.

If necessary, we have containers of 120, 240, 360, 800 and 1000 l and special containers for biomedical waste of 0.6 to 60 l. In addition, if the needs of the service require it, we can provide drums for special waste, of 60, 120, 200 l. and 1,000 l (IBC), metal, plastic and spring-loaded.

To guarantee safe transport, we have a wide variety of vehicles equipped with the latest technological advances, with which we can offer a fast and personalized service.

Our land fleet is made up of more than 250 vehicles of 11 different types and has an advanced monitoring system to optimize collections and routes.

OWN TREATMENT PLANTS

At TMA we have state-of-the-art facilities and equipment in all our plants, which are designed and created to promote recycling as much as possible and to carry out optimal management and recovery of recoverable materials.

In Alicante we have a controlled deposit that complies with all national and community regulations regarding the correct management of non-hazardous waste. We have authorization for the treatment of a large number of LER waste codes.

In this center we have our own transport fleet, Technical Assistance Service for the maintenance of our vehicles and commercial team for personalized attention to our clients.

CERTIFICATIONS AND REPORTS

We undertake to issue all reports that the Management of the Marina Baixa Hospital requests for knowledge of the operation of the service provided and we provide the documentation and certificates necessary to comply with the corresponding regulations related to the management of this type of waste.
