But there is another important issue that can sometimes go unnoticed: <strong>what we do with the waste we generate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Oil, chemicals, plastics or industrial waste that are improperly managed can end up contaminating soil, rivers or groundwater. In the case of hazardous waste, even greater control is required to prevent substances such as oils, solvents, paints or certain chemicals from entering the environment.<\/p>\n<p>And it is not only hazardous waste that matters.
