It is compatible with the ISO 14001 environmental management standard and is fully integrated with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), granting Diagonal Mar an additional seal of reliability and environmental leadership.<\/p>\n<p>This achievement has been possible thanks to a solid and well-structured collaboration between CBRE as the center&#8217;s manager, Bureau Veritas as the certifying entity, and TMA, as a waste management specialist and technical partner throughout the entire process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TMA provided the technical and operational support, designing and implementing comprehensive waste management based on the Zero Waste philosophy.<\/strong> This management encompasses everything from selective collection and sorting of waste to its treatment in its own authorized plants to ensure traceability, quality, and real value at every step of the process (reuse, recycling, composting, and energy recovery).<\/p>\n<p>In this way, TMA has secured Diagonal Mar the highest certification and consolidated its position as a benchmark for sustainability in Spain, <strong>integrating ESG criteria, ISO certifications, and SDGs into an effective operational strategy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Diagonal Mar thus consolidates a high-level environmental management model because it has been able <strong>to transform its daily operations into an environmental management system aligned with the principles of the circular economy,<\/strong> becoming a benchmark in the retail sector in terms of sustainability.<\/p>\n<h5><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_the_%E2%80%9CZero_Waste_Management%E2%80%9D_certification\"><\/span><strong>What is the &#8220;Zero Waste Management&#8221;
