in the El Ventaiol development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are proud that the local administration continues to trust TMA and Espais Verds, and with this contract we continue to lead forest management and the protection of the natural environments in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Espais Verds will open and maintain the low-combustibility perimeter strip to preserve the environment and protect the people who live in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The objectives of the contract are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reduce the risk of the forest fire spreading inside the development<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reduce the risk of a forest fire spreading to the outside of the development<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facilitate the access of fire-fighting equipment to the entire perimeter of the development<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facilitate the access of machinery for the execution of the vegetation treatment in the perimeter strip and its subsequent maintenance.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"WHAT_WILL_THE_WORK_IN_THE_EL_VENTAIOL_URBANIZATION_CONSIST_OF\"><\/span><strong>WHAT WILL THE WORK IN THE EL VENTAIOL URBANIZATION CONSIST OF?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The fire prevention tasks will consist of creating a 25-metre wide low-combustibility perimeter strip and the opening works will consist of:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The reduction of trees<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The pruning of selected trees<\/span><\/li>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-16015 lazyload\" be encouraged rather than white pine because they are less pyrophytic species (they are species less capa<\/span>ble of surviving fire) than pine.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The technical criteria for drawing up the low-combustibility strip are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Green areas located in contact with the boundary of the development<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The final layout of the strip will pass through the green areas located on the boundary of the development and in such a way that the majority of these green areas are on the outer band of the low-combustibility perimeter strip<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span>Perimeter urban roads<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The final layout of the strip may take into account the width of the perimeter urban roads as part of the total width of the low-combustibility perimeter strip.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span>Built-up plots located within the perimeter strip area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The final layout of the strip will not affect homes located within rustic land. A distance of 25 m wide will be left, starting from the fa\u00e7ade of the home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fire prevention is a task that requires a multidisciplinary approach and precise because fires release large amounts of carbon into the atmosphere.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Espais Verds we will continue working to protect our forests and communities and we will continue collaborating with town councils such as Vacarisses and other entities to improve and maintain our green spaces and reduce the risk of
