SAFETY<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/nav><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Decentralised Municipal Entity of Valldoreix has entrusted Espais Verds del Vall\u00e8s, the TMA gardening company, to take charge of <strong>revitalising the network of streams located in the EMD area.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"AREAS_WE_TREAT\"><\/span><strong>AREAS WE TREAT<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Espais Verds we will act on the headwater streams that collect rainwater from a large part of <strong>Valldoreix<\/strong>, as well as from the <strong>Collserola mountain range<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For a minimum period of two years, we will carry out <strong>the maintenance and cleaning of eight streams in Valldoreix.<\/strong> In the first year, we will focus on streams such as Passeig de la Guineu, Bobines, Llobet, Can Monmany, while in the second year, special attention will be given to the streams and sections of Badal, Clavell, Nonell, Saladrigues, Olimpia and Guineu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"SCHEDULING\"><\/span><strong>SCHEDULING<\/strong><span of forest fires and adverse weather conditions that may cause flooding.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For this reason, before starting work we also take into account warnings of risky meteorological situations, especially in work on the beds of torrents and streams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This scheduling of dates is also useful to carry out our work in an optimal and agile manner, to work productively and without disturbing citizens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"INTEGRAL_SERVICE_AND_ENVIRONMENTAL_COMMITMENT\"><\/span><strong>INTEGRAL SERVICE AND ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Espais Verds and TMA, we are characterized by carrying out <strong>our work in a complete and comprehensive manner.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>We have highly qualified personnel<\/strong> and state-of-the-art machinery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The Espais Verds team<\/strong> is made up of a non-executive site manager, two teams (made up of 1 group leader, 1 specialist officer, 3 specialist labourers) and another team made up of a forestry machinist and a specialist labourer. Our technicians carefully study the site before intervening, working to promote the protection of nature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>We apply the specific treatment for each species.<\/strong> In this project, we mainly act on the reed present in the riverbed, considering and respecting the native shrub layer on the banks of the streams.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>In the case of shredding or other processes for the removal of plant remains,<\/strong> we always make sure to do so in safe places that do not represent risks.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>When managing fallen trees,<\/strong> we begin by removing the branches and cutting them up to reduce their size, using chainsaws, hand saws or axes. We then remove the remains from the area to manage them safely.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>When felling dangerous trees,<\/strong> our aim is to protect natural spaces and people. The resulting plant remains such as trunks, stumps and branches are stored in equipment intended for transport and management.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>We are responsible for removing waste<\/strong> of anthropic origin in the areas where we intervene and we deposit them in approved bags so that the EMD Valldoreix brigade can later collect them.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"COMMITMENT_TO_QUALITY_AND_SAFETY\"><\/span><strong>COMMITMENT TO QUALITY AND SAFETY<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The quality management in our service<\/strong> includes the detection and communication of incidents, as well as adequate signage in work areas to prevent accidents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This award reinforces our position as environmental agents.
