It is vital to implement policies and procedures that guarantee the proper segregation, safe storage and treatment applied to each type of waste. In this way, we can guarantee the safety of patients, health professionals and the environment in which we live.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"WORK_WE_CARRY_OUT\"><\/span><strong>WORK WE CARRY OUT<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The work we carry out to ensure the traceability of waste in the Hospital is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>We supply the containers and other material means necessary<\/strong> for the disposal of each type of waste.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>We establish the collection periods<\/strong> according to the needs of the company. At least once a week we collect the containers and replace them with new ones, in order to be able to empty them. They also have special permits, for example, the toxic and dangerous materials handling card.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vehicles and equipment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have a<a title=\"Fleet of Vehicles\" href=\"http:\/\/tma.es\/en\/vehicles-and-equipment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> large fleet of vehicles approved<\/strong><\/a> for the transport of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have <strong>containers of different sizes<\/strong> and adapted to each type of waste. We place them in our clients&#8217; companies so that they can deposit the waste, avoiding losses and thus facilitating collection for subsequent treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Material resources<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each material resource is adapted to the type of waste for which it is indicated.
