La Panda Raid 2026 ha vuelto a consolidarse como una de las pruebas de resistencia más desafiantes del calendario de rallys amateur. Un recorrido imprevisible, etapas interminables y un desierto marroquí especialmente severo han puesto al límite tanto la habilidad de pilotos y copilotos como la fiabilidad mecánica de unos vehículos que, edición tras edición, demuestran que en esta competición no se trata de potencia, sino de ingenio, resistencia y capacidad de adaptación.
En esta edición, la combinación de altas temperaturas, dunas especialmente técnicas y averías constantes ha elevado el nivel de exigencia hasta un punto que pocos equipos estaban preparados para afrontar. Cada kilómetro se convirtió en una auténtica prueba de resistencia física, mental y mecánica.
En este contexto el Equip Sant Cugat, patrocinado por TMA Tecnología Medio Ambiente, ha logrado completar la edición con resultados muy distintos entre sus dos equipos, reflejo directo de la dureza de esta Panda Raid.
AN EXTREME EDITION OF THE PANDA RAID 2026
The Panda Raid is much more than a rally: it’s a test where navigation, strategy, and mechanical endurance are crucial.
In this edition, the route stood out for its difficulty, with sections of deep sand, complex navigation, and mechanical wear that caused numerous breakdowns among the participants.
In this context, Team Sant Cugat experienced a challenge marked by the constant struggle against the terrain and mechanical difficulties, in an environment where adaptability, decision-making, and teamwork proved key—values that directly align with TMA’s way of working.
BREAKDOWNS, EFFORT, AND FIGHTING SPIRIT TO THE END
The team of Ignasi de Azpiazu and Pol Ciriquian was one of the hardest hit by mechanical problems. Their Seat Marbella suffered serious breakdowns, including a cracked cylinder head and, ultimately, the need to replace the entire engine, which took them out of the official standings.
Even so, they decided to continue until the end of the race, demonstrating exemplary resilience and commitment.
And it is precisely in these kinds of situations that the values we at TMA promote are most clearly reflected. Ignasi and Pol showed an exemplary attitude, facing every difficulty without giving up and maintaining their commitment until the very end. This way of acting represents us and makes us especially proud to accompany them on this adventure.
A real shame, as they started with a real chance of fighting for the top spots thanks to their experience and track record in the competition.
CONSISTENCY AND PROGRESS DESPITE SETBACKS
The team of Joan Molinera and Lluís Xicoy started with an excellent pace, achieving 6th place in the first stage.
On the second day, mechanical problems hampered their ranking, but they maintained steady progress, reaching 14th place in the penultimate stage.
Ultimately, they finished their participation in 25th position out of 93 vehicles, a very commendable result given the difficulties they faced.
Far from being just a result, their participation perfectly reflects values such as consistency, adaptability, and a job well done—principles that are also part of TMA’s daily operations.
A solid performance, built on consistency and adaptability, inspires confidence and reinforces the pride of supporting a team with this mentality.
